2020 . Visionary and founder in "Earth Intelligence"
I registered the trademark "Earth Intelligence" in 2020 to clarify the contribution of probabilistic modeling in the use of Artificial Intelligence for natural resource management, mainly oil and nuclear. I realized that the advent of digital transformation with access to high-powered, low-cost computing resources is what I had been waiting for since my encounter with G. Matheron's probabilistic models in 1975 at University of Quebec (Chicoutimi).

​At a time when we are very concerned about our natural environment, a responsible, sustainable and profitable management of the Earth's resources is no longer “a nice to have it” but has turned into “must have it” and my objective is now to evangelize on the operational solutions proposed by Earth Intelligence in this field.
2005 . Founding CEO SEISQUARE
I founded Seisquare (Seismic Qualification Reservoir) company in 2005 to clarify the positioning of the innovative stochastic technology and software developed by ERM.S in the oil and gas market. In 2010, Seisquare was funded by Schlumberger to develop an OCEAN plugin for depth conversion of seismic horizons at the exploration stage of O&G projects. Seisquare built on this first UDOMORE plugin to develop a comprehensive UDOMORE software suite addressing all structural issues faced by asset management teams during the life of an oil and gas project.
1993 . Founding CEO ERM.S
I founded ERM.S (Earth Resource Management Services) in 1993 to completely emancipate myself from research and focus on service to the oil and gas industry. Thanks to a strong collaboration with geophysicists from TOTAL and PETROBRAS in particular, we have developed stochastic geophysics algorithms for spatial quality assessment, conditioning and modeling of seismic data.
In 2005, ERM.S transferred its activity to the newly created company Seisquare and became an intellectual property rights holding company.
1986 . Founding CEO GEOVARIANCES
I founded Geovariances in1986 to market the services and software solutions developed at the Geostatistics Center. Having started with the Bluepack and OP.Mine software at the time, Geovariances is known since then for having developed and commercialized the ISATIS software, an industrial reference in the field of applied geostatistics. In 2022, Geovariances was acquired by Vela Software, a subsidiary of the global group Constellation Software.

I conducted my PhD research work under the guidance of Prof Georges Matheron in the field of combining statistical multivariate PCA and geostatistics under the name of Factorial Kriging Analysis.
From 1983 to 1986, I assisted Professor Matheron in the management of the industrial links of the research center and this is how I ended up founding Geovariances in order to best support the research center software customers with industrial services..
